CHIKU MILKSHAKE | SAPOTA MILKSHAKE

      I love this fruit very much, but trying this milkshake for the very fist time, loved it! My kid too loved it… The chikku we get here in local markets is so very different from our Indian Chikku.What we get in local market is Vietnam chikku,its firm,smooth and large rather than our Indian fruit,which is soft and a kind of grainy in texture. After mom’s endless advice to consume this fruit(one among a set of ‘to eat healthy things’ advices...hehe) I bought both the chikkus we get here. Sapota-milkshake
Ingredients:
Chilled milk 1 cup
Chikku/sapota fruit 3 nos
Vanilla Ice cream 1 scoop
Chiku - Chikkoo

Method:

  1. Peel and remove the seeds from the fruit and chop it. Add milk,chopped fruit and ice cream together in a blender.
  2. Blend it well until smooth and enjoy it when it is still chill .

        • For low fat version, use low fat milk,skip ice cream and add little sugar or honey.
