Olive and Pecan Spread



Anyone who likes green olives will love this appetizer!  The combination of olives, pecans and cream cheese makes it a tasty treat.  I’ve used this recipe many times and it always gets rave reviews.  There is no limit as to what you can serve this spread with:  crackers, vegetables, crusty bread, bagels or as a sandwich spread.  It’s quick, easy, has a great appearance and is a crowd pleaser!  Yum!!!


Olive and Pecan Spread


Ingredients:


8 oz. cream cheese, softened
½ c. mayonnaise
½ c. chopped pecans
1 c. salad olives
½ t. McCormick Seasoned Pepper, to taste (I use 1T.)



Mash cream cheese with a fork.  Add mayonnaise, mix well.  Stir in pecans and olives and pepper.  Mix well.  Chill for at least 2 hours.  It will be mushy when first made but, will spread well after being chilled.
Serve on crackers.   It also makes a good sandwich filling.
