Caramel Bread Pudding

15nos French Baguette slices
1/2cup Sugar
2cups Milk
1tsp Vanilla essence
1/2cup Sugar (for making caramel)
Make small pieces of baguette and soak them in milk, smash completely the baguette slices, take care to mash everything well,add the sugar and vanilla essence and stir completely, keep aside..
Heat the sugar with 2tbsp of water, swirl the pan continously, once the sugar turns dark brown in colour, put off the stove..pour the caramel syrup to a flat vessel and coat completely the vessel..now pour the already prepared bread mixture and cover the vessel with an aluminium foil make small holes here and there just for the steam to escape, heat enough water in a pressure cooker..close the cooker with lid and steam cook for 20-25minutes..
Let the pudding cool completely, convert the pudding to a plate and arrange in fridge..Cut into pieces and serve!!
